PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pleasant Grove Planning Commission Public Hearing on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (south entrance), 86 E. 100 S., Pleasant Grove, Utah, ON THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 Public hearing; to consider the request of BSB Properties LC for Conditional Use Permit approval to allow a martial arts instruction company called USA Tae Kwan Do Inc. to operate out of the building located at 145 South P.G. Boulevard Suite B, in the CS-2 (Commercial Sales-2) Zone.(SAM WHITE’S LANE NEIGHBORHOOD)

 Public hearing; to consider the possible revocation of the Conditional Use Permit approval, which allows Harold Sargent to operate H & S Auto Repair on property, located at 112 East 700 South, in the CS-2 (Commercial Sales 2) Zone. (STRING TOWN NEIGHBORHOOD)
Public hearing; to consider the possible revocation of the Conditional Use Permit approval, which allow Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kravet to have and care for a certain number of horses above the maximum number permitted by the ordinance (2 per/acre), located at 9860 (4478) North Canyon Road, in the R-R (Rural Residential) Zone. Public hearing; to consider the request of Central Bank for Preliminary Plat approval of the Flag Lot proposal called Cook Property Subdivision; located at approximately 393 West 400 North, in the R1-8 (Single-Family Residential) Zone.(LITTLE DENMARK NEIGHBORHOO 
Public hearing; to consider the request of Reed Swenson (Triple Focus LLC) for Preliminary approval of Majestic Meadows Commercial Subdivision Plat B; located at approximately 590 West State Street, in the C-G (General Commercial) Zone.(SAM WHITE’S LANE NEIGHBORHOOD)
Public hearing; to consider the request of Pleasant Grove City Staff to amend Section 10-6-2/Definitions, adding definitions for “Caretaker,” “Personal Care Provider,” “Accessory Apartments,” and amending the definition for “Family;” and also amending Sections 10-9A-1/Purpose of the R-R (Rural Residential) Zone and  10-9B-1/Purpose of the R1 (Single-Family Residential) Zones, declaring that Accessory Apartments are prohibited; however, providing an exemption for Caretakers and Personal Care Providers in sub-section 2 of each Zone.Public hearing; to consider the request of Pleasant Grove City Staff, to amend Section 10-3-2, ET SEQ., Administrative Code Enforcement, establishing an appeal procedure, and providing for an effective date.
